The most useful thing anyone knows about deploying AI is almost never published.
It lives in a conversation between two people who have both done the work, and it stays there because saying it in public would cost one of them something. The confidentiality standard, the admissions bar and the cap exist to protect that.
The premise
12 people who have made the same decision, in a room where saying what it cost them carries no consequence.
Standards
3 rules, enforced rather than published.
- Confidentiality by default
- Chatham House throughout. What is said travels, who said it does not. Nothing recorded, nothing sponsored, no attendee list.
- No solicitation
- One place to pitch, and it is the floor at a pitch session. Using the directory to prospect ends a membership immediately.
- Composition is managed
- Reaffirmed each year rather than renewed automatically. A member who has drifted can be moved to alumni standing.
Governance
The Council
15 to 20 senior operators and allocators. Seats are earned through contribution, never elected and never bought. The Council sets the agenda and chairs admissions.
It is not seated yet. The first one is seated in 2027, from the members admitted this year.
Disclosed interest
AI Club Canada and Vantage Ventures are owned by the same person. Vantage is a referral practice rather than a fund, and membership here carries no claim on it.
