Every door, in full.

Founder and Operator

You run the company, and the AI decision is yours to make.

Primary decision maker: Founder, owner, controlling shareholder or majority stakeholder.
Active leadership: You hold that role at the business today.
Revenue: $1M minimum in gross annual revenues in your most recent fiscal year.
Or venture backed: $2M raised privately, or $5M publicly, with 10 or more full time staff.
Runway: Venture backed companies have 3 years to reach the $1M mark.

Capital and Allocator

You deploy capital into this sector on a thesis, not an interest.

Investment authority: Partner, Principal, or the person who signs off. Not an analyst covering it.
A live thesis: An AI position taken in the last 24 months, or a pool you are deploying now.
Fund scale: $10M minimum under management, or a family office at scale.
You hold the mandate: Placement agents, brokers and fundraising advisors are a different business.

Enterprise and Institutional

You own the AI mandate inside a large organisation, and the budget under it.

The mandate is yours: C-suite, division president, or the executive personally accountable for it.
Budget authority: You approve the spend, or you own the line it leaves.
Organisation scale: $25M in annual revenues, or 250 staff, or a public body of that size.
In deployment: Live, in pilot, or funded and scheduled. Not a strategy.

Technical and Research Leader

You have put systems in front of real users, and you carry what happens next.

The senior technical seat: CTO, VP Engineering, Chief Scientist, Head of AI or Head of Data.
Shipped, not proposed: In production with real users or real money, or research adopted outside the lab.
Scale or consequence: Large systems, or systems where failure is regulated, unsafe or expensive.
You carry the decision: The seat that signs off the architecture, not the one writing the ticket.

No membership needed

Founders can ask for the floor. 15 minutes in front of the membership and the firms we invite, twice a year, at no cost either way. How to pitch us is published slide by slide.

By invitation, no membership

Venture firms, private equity and corporate funds can sit in on a pitch session without anyone joining. Write to us if your firm should be on that list.

Requirements

These do not move for anyone.

You hold the role now: Today, actively. Formerly, advising, or observing a board does not clear it.
The business is the bar: We check the numbers, not the biography. Under the bar is declined, and told why.
No students, with one exception: Nobody is admitted for being early. Run a company that clears the bar and you are judged on the company, exactly as everyone else is.
Nobody is admitted to sell: Agencies, resellers and recruiters joining for the list are declined.
You write it yourself: The committee is reading how you think. That cannot be delegated.
A unanimous vote: 3 people on the committee. One reservation is enough to stop it.
Sponsorship, waived this year: A member normally puts your name forward. There is nobody yet to do it.
Reaffirmed every year: Renewed by a decision, not a billing date. Drift moves you to alumni standing.
Chatham House, without exception: What is said travels. Who said it does not. Nothing is recorded.

A cap is only worth having if it is enforced against someone you would rather admit.
