Before you begin.

This is deliberately not a lead form. Treat it the way you would a serious introduction to a room you actually want to be respected in.

4 stages, 3 to 6 weeks. Every one of them is a person reading what you wrote.

  1. Day 0

    Initial Expression of Interest

    The form below. 5 minutes, but we would rather you take 15.

  2. Days 2 to 5

    Screening

    Your submission is read against the published criteria before it goes any further. If you name a sponsoring member, we contact them directly for a short confidential reference.

  3. Weeks 1 to 3

    Admissions Committee Review

    A rotating 3 person committee reviews every application. Approval is unanimous, never majority. One reservation stops it.

  4. Weeks 3 to 6

    Confidential Conversation and Invitation

    Shortlisted candidates have a private conversation before any invitation is extended. Dues are disclosed at that stage, not before.

We would rather tell you no clearly than say yes carelessly. A decision not to admit is not a judgment that stands forever, and applying again as your circumstances change is welcome.

The Club is in its founding year. Applications now are for the founding cohort, which is admitted without sponsorship and seats the first Council. Everything else about the bar is unchanged.

Choose the one that describes where you actually sit, not where you would like to. The bar for each is published in full on the membership page.

Capital, product, governance or policy. Most people write 3 or 4 sentences. Take the room.
